What happens when we mix VCD and Blue Light Technology?

So, what happens when we eat UPF (Ultra-Processed Foods) that are listed as VCD (Vanishing Caloric Density) while we are using devices have BLE (Blue Light Exposure)?

We need to discuss what blue light technology/exposure actually is.  Blue light is a short-wavelength light that is emitted by screens such as your phone, tablets, computers, TVs, LED lights and even gambling machines.

So, to reestablish this, we've got VCD foods that hijack your satiety, underestimate your caloric intake, and give you a dopamine spike without any nutrients. We've got you chewing less, eating faster and being highly distracted while consuming calories. Now we are adding in this technology that was created by two groups of bad guys, no seriously, go down the rabbit hole of what two groups created blue light and for what nefarious purpose.

Exposure to blue light at night suppresses melatonin production, which delays the onset of sleep. If your circadian rhythm goes into misalignment then that will cause issues with your gut hormones. You are hungrier, less sensitive to the trigger of feeling full and your body stores more fat from the same calories.

Because you are distracted watching the screen, you do what's commonly referred to as mindless eating which is why so frequently people will sit down with a bag of chips while watching football on the tv. You'll see grazing habits versus sitting down with a healthy well-balanced meal in these instances.

When we combine VCD + BLE we get hyper arousal and reward-driven which provides no real regulation nor satisfaction. Tack onto that the poor impulse control and you've really got some issues building up.

Effects of Long-Term Blue Light Exposure on Body Fat Synthesis

Metabolic Effects of Light at Night

* Long Term Reduction of Short-Wavelength Light

* Morning and Evening Blue-Enriched Light Alters Metabolic Function

There are numerous studies out there, but these are just a few that you can investigate yourself. Next, I'll be moving onto something a bit different but still connected.
